Barala Kennels was built and established approximately 30 years ago. The kennel is now owned and operated by Garth and Sara Grant. Garth and Sara Grant (pictured above) are the owners of Barala Kennels. Garth's love for dogs goes back to his days of breeding, and showing of St. Bernards some 30 years ago. He and Sara currently own 1 Golden Retriever (Maggie) and 6 St. Bernards (Hugo, Carmen, Baron, Diamond, Nikki and Boss). The dogs are involved in the show ring and have had many wonderful wins. Their genuine love of both dogs and cats was the main reason for owning the kennel.
Our boarding kennel, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, welcomes all breeds of dogs and cats, from the smallest of dogs to the giant breeds. We have 62 indoor/outdoor dog quarters and 9 cat quarters in our cattery. We are located in a rural setting just minutes north of the Assiniboine Downs, off the perimeter on Road 64. Our hours of operation are Sun.-Fri. 8:00am - 7:00pm. Sat. 8:00am - 12:00pm. We are closed Sunday of the long weekends. Inspections are welcome within our business hours. Barala Kennels |
